Several states have recently appealed to the 10th and/or the 9th Amendments to assert their state rights over federal government.
These amendments state:

Unrelated hysteria: last night I dreamed I was on a crippled Navy boat with an Air Force sergeant and some friendly ghosts. We came under attack by a Chinese submarine launching torpedos at us. Miraculously, the ghosts saved us by helping the boat drift to shore while we were busy trying to inflate our lifevests by mouth. I think this dream has something to do with the stimulus bill being volleyed in the Senate.
In a previous nightmare, I had the sense I was being followed. Every time I turned around, there was Barack Obama not more than three feet away with his hands in his pockets, smiling. He followed me everywhere. I suspect this dream has something to do with our nation's impending fall into Communism. Barry was my "big brother" in this nightmare...always looking out for me--I mean, always watching my every move.

Two months into the "Obamanation" and you are still here. Guess you are just like every other politician. Full of empty promises(i.e moving to Alaska if Obama wins) and bitter bantering.
This country, a blood sucking, money hoarding, power stricken and God smashing nation is getting exactly what it wants. A 'leader'. Maybe not the one that you or I have in mind, but then again our Leader is also the Creator of this property that we currently dwell on, isn't He?
Possibly, Kristen, instead of bashing the leaders that don't stand up to your level of expectations, you should get back to the basics, eh?
Some things to remember before you get too puffed up, Kristen:
For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Romans 13:1
Think about King Nebuchadnezzar, Kristen? How wicked, shallow and deceptive was this leader? And what did the Lord do for him...not to mention through him? Are we not called to pray for our leaders? Does your verbal attacks and arrogance prove to be any better than the ones that you judge? Might I say, you sound like all the other politicians out there.
Before you get too much further on your road to nowhere, stop and recall a few things, Kristen, dear.
Who is the one that you will stand before?
What does your attacks do to advance the kingdom of God?
What do you personally do to change the world that you so despise?
Whom is your message reaching? Is it reaching the lost? the hungry? the blind? the slaves? the bound?
Is your language that of love, of purity, or hope and of integrity? Is it with compassion and with love? Is it with an eternal purpose?
Don't get me wrong. I am no saint myself. But this I know; we are walking in some very dark times. And you can either be a light to world or you can be one of those who helps keep the blinds shut and The Light out.
There is the Republic of Texas secession movement, though it's not as strong as it was during the mid-'90s.
President Obama was walking behind you waiting for you to pony up some more money for all the wonderful programs in the "stimulus" bill.

Sometimes the best thing to do is to shine a light on what's going on that isn't so great. I find your Old Testament reference interesting given the tone of your comment -- who was more adept at decrying the excesses of the people or their leaders than OT prophets?
I'm not saying that KJ is on par with Isiah (although I'm quite certain she looks better in a cocktail dress), but to criticize her for using her own blog to point out the excesses, hypocrisy, and incompetence of the current administration smacks of the self-righteousness of which you are accusing her.
In my opinion, your criticism would be better directed at those who seek to infringe upon our liberties, not those who oppose them.
